About Julie - The Daily Juggle Story
I was born in 1977 in a little village in Perthshire Scotland. I made my TV debut in Majorca at the age of 7 by winning a competition to stand on one leg whilst smiling and catching a beach ball. I was told at a careers evening that I should consider becoming a minister. The lack of fashionable dog collars saw me shun the pulpit in favour of a career in telly. And like all Scots travelling for work it has taken me all over the world.
Just as well really as I'm a Geography geek, I studied my MA at Aberdeen University in Geography & International Relations. Both big subjects which have dominated my work to date. I've worked in local, national and international broadcasting, as a reporter, TV presenter and newsreader in the world of TV and Radio. I am also passionate about coaching mums and I run my own coaching parctice from the old garage our garden.

I am married to Rob and we have two daughters. We are doing our best to stay married in the face of two demanding personalities and careers and two brilliant and funny little girls. We live in Surrey.
About The Daily Juggle
I wanted to build a website for mums that was all about them and not their kids. In my coaching practice I noticed how many brilliant and talented women were sitting on my sofa putting their own hopes and ambitions to the bottom of the pile and with big consequences. Working in news I also saw how the pressure on women, sometimes from other women and often from the media and from ourselves is causing a huge amount of un-happiness and stress.
So The Daily Juggle was born and is dedicated to super charging the confidence of mums, and inspiring them to focus on their own hopes and ambitions. We're creating free resources, blogs, articles and videos and pod casts with advice from parents and experts to enable and inspire mums to make their hopes a reality. Whether Mums are working raising their kids at home or working outside of the home then The Daily Juggle is here to support and encourage them. The Daily Juggle is a judgement free zone - we're going to provide the resources to inspire a well rounded life.
Dads are also invited. We hope to change the narrative that it's only and always women struggling with the juggle. So our Dad Juggle pages are there to give Dads a chance to share their hopes, fears and annoyances with other parents. If we only concentrate on women - we're only getting half the story.
Over time we'll feature lots of brilliant and inspiring parents and hopefully their stories will help us support each other while we struggle with The Daily Juggle.
